Rebel Alumni Player Nominated for Hobey Baker Award

WE NEED YOUR VOTES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Hobey Baker award is an annual award given to the top Collegiate Athletic Association men's ice hockey player.   

Dan O'Donoghue who played for the Long Island Rebels and was a member of the

Rebels M16 National Championship team coached by Tom Cartwright has been nominated for the award.   Dan is currently attending Mercyhurst College and has participated in the Washington Capitals and NY Islanders Prospect Development Camps.

Part of the award process involves people voting everyday for Danny between now and March 20th.    All you need to do is go to and click on the award voting link, look for Danny's picture half way down on the right side of the page and click the vote button in his box.  You can vote once a day every day.  Lets make the next Hobey Baker Award Winner a Long Islander.
